Taipei, Day 1

Off to Taiwan...

Before that...

The couple has got nothing to do with this picture. They were blocking my view more like it. LOL

I accidentally deleted the picture of China Airlines aircraft -_-"

Anyways, I don't understand why Malaysia don't allow passengers to handcarry water bottles. Does it look like a bomb?? Maybe it looks like a mini atomic bomb

I just love the window seat, ample space to sleep. The flight from Malaysia to Taiwan takes about 4 hours plus.

No pictures of Taoyuan Airport in Taiwan were taken.

KLIA is MUCH nicer than that airport.

They like to sell food in a stick, and it's not cheap. It's about RM5 and above for a stick of fried stuff. They love to eat all sorts of intestines, from small to big intestines.

Loads of fried stuff available

Taiwan has all sorts of fruits, you know name it they have it. EXCEPT for durian

Most of the stalls sell the same kind of food, so I guess the competition between them is stiff

The omelette with an overdose of flour.

The Market Square in Shilin. We did not have the chance to go to the Shilin Night Market due to lack of time.

I think it's tofu

Taiwan style Bak Kut Teh, which does not taste like Bak Kut Teh at all. In other words, no taste.

The basic is just a bowl of pork, noodles or vege is additional.

The boney pork.

There are sooo many mirrors in the room. Around 16 mirrors! Every inch of the wall has a mirror. Behind me is a mini garden, with mirrors.

The mini garden. And there are 2 televisions in the room with more than 100 channels. Is it necessary to have 2 tvs?

The exterior of the room. The wallpaper and an old lady from the housekeeping wearing a pink dress gave me a shock. The real surprise wasn't until we opened the door and saw a room with 2 floors.

The jasmin orange chicken I bought from Shilin. It looked burnt and undelicious, but in fact it is yummy! And I don't even know the name of that drink, I just pointed at the picture of this drink and ordered it. But it taste good!

The ceiling of the lobby

The lobby of the King of France Palace Hotel. Now this make sense, all the fanciful and extreme decorations are actually based on french designs. It was more like a french king's bedroom.
