Adding to the Collection

This is the result of being indecisive

My Christmas gift from Deary

=)

Somehow we got a flair for soft toys, and on top of that, WE being a part of the lizard clan have an extra affectionate for that purple dinosaur called Barney :)

The yellow dino was suppose to be for my doggie, but I liked it sooo much that I decided to keep it for myself. keke.

Sorry Nikki, as much as I would wanna give it to you, your saliva would be all over it :)

Movie Buff

Chee-Wow-Wa! I totally love this show!! The songs fit in perfectly, the dogs, the actors, the script, the everything! Not much to critique on this movie as it is simply awesome! If you love dogs, just go watch this show, or even if you don't, go watch it too. Maybe you'll love them after watching a few dog shows :) Two thumbs up!

Rating: 8/10

What can I say about this show? When I first saw the poster I thought it would be something like The Day After Tomorrow or some kind of natural disaster show. But it wasn't as I expected it to be. The so-called climax wasn't climax at all. It was monotonous all the way, and then it ended. Deary said that Keanu Reeves's acting is so stone. Well, he is suppose to be that way in the movie. But he was also stone in Matrix according to Deary. This show gave us humans an important message but they didn't present the message well enough, according to Deary again.

Rating: 3+1/10 (+ 1 for the message )

Super Bark! That is suppose to be Bolt's so-called ultimate super power. Sometimes I would go "Awwwww" and "Soooo cute" and most of the time, laughing! Seriously, it is quite entertaining. And there was this sad and touching scene which made me cry. Jeez! I can't believe a cartoon show made me cry. Deary somehow agreed to watch a cartoon movie in cinemas. Usually he would say it's a waste of money to watch cartoons in cinemas. Maybe it's because of my constant persuasion :)

Holiday, with style

I have always fancy hotels, not motels or hostels, but hotels- the nice ones of course. Every hotels gives me a different impression and feeling and each one is unique, and the hotel i stayed in Penang, was no exception.

That's right. I'm talking about g hotel. Yes, just an alphabet. I wonder why isn't the g in capital *no idea*

Mummy and I went shopping throughout our trip there. It is somehow easier to shop when we are on vacation because back home, we would always say, "Aiyoh nvm la next time only buy". But we can't say next time when we are somewhere far away from home. So it's always "Just buy only la".

They were filming a wedding scene by the beach. The movie is soon to be released in Malaysia I guess.

Lol. No la the couple was really getting married and they were having their wedding shoot by the beach =)

Okay, so back to the hotel talk.

This g hotel, is somehow quite stylish compared to the typical hotels. It looks more like a bar rather than a cosy hotel. It's cosy in its own way though. To me, the most important thing about hotels are their rooms. g hotel has satisfactory rooms - clean, spacious, comfy, and great bathroom.

The pool area is small but it gives you a really cosy feeling. If only there are no buildings surrounding the pool area 360 degrees then it would be perfect. Plus a nice sea view then of course it would be better :)

By the way, they had a fire drill during our stay there. *faints*

Mummy confirmed with them a gazillion times whether we have to participate in it, and so they said that it's not compulsory. Most importantly, will the lifts be working during the drill??

Lady over the phone: Yes the lifts will be working

On the actual day...

Ringggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

The alarm bising for so long, and the lifts weren't working -______-

And when you go to Penang how can you not eat Penang food. SO, we went to Gurney Drive to eat. Hate it when there are a gazillion stalls selling the same kind of food. The unfortunate part about this was that I fell sick the next day itself. Having to endure a 4 hour journey to get back home was so torturing.

And so the after effect of such torture:

Vomiting+High Fever+Dizzy+Backache= Give me a break!

...and no laksa and kuey teow for a long long time.

A Day Out at the Park

My pup is definitely afraid of the outdoors, as she has not been exposed much to the outside world. And so, her park trips are not very enjoyable for her. Wouldn't want fleas to get onto her so she is NOT allowed to walk on the grass and so I have to carry her most of the time. I made her go on the slide which terrified her a lot! crossing fingers I will try not to do that again, sorry sweety :)

If only Edward Cullen was real

*The only time Edward looks like a vampire is in this picture*

Since I have read the book, this movie did not give me much excitement and anticipation as I could roughly guess what would happen next. Reading the book definitely allowed me to let my imaginations run wild. Bella's house wasn't as what I imagined it would be, same goes to the Cullens'.

The movie definitely can't give the same feeling as the book does. But we wouldn't wanna watch every single detail of their expressions. Sometimes a story remains better in a book rather than in motion picture.

I can't blame Robert Pattinson for not being as gorgeous as what Edward is suppose to be, as nobody is perfect in this world. So how could the casting director find anyone perfect, even outside Hollywood to portray Edward Cullen. Edward is supposed to be flawlessly beautiful, which is what Stephanie Mayer emphasized like a gazillion times in the story.

Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan. Hmmm. I do not like her acting. Maybe I'm oversensitive towards her acting. Robert Pattinson on the other hand played a pretty well job. Just one tiny bit which I do not like. Whenever he gives the Edward-is-a-protective-and-fierce-boyfriend stare, he seems to be forcing and manipulating his eyeballs till they look so awkward. He should have taken lessons from Tyra Banks.
