At the peak of Chigu Salt Mountain


The reason why this salt mountain existed is because it was a huge pile of unwanted salt dumped here long ago. The japanese dug a huge hole and allowed the sea water to flow in, and when the sun dries the sea water, salt is left behind. However, soon they realised that it was very costly to manufacture salt here so they just abandoned it. And so, having lack of tourist destinations, they decided to make this a must-see place.

This temple is really really huge

It is like a mini town

There is a Buddhist University, hostel, restaurants and many temples inside

There is a branch of this temple in Malaysia, the one in Jenjarum

At the Spring and Autumn Pavillions

Hsuan Tien Shangti Temple and Confucius Temple

It is a must to enter through the dragon's side and come out through the tiger's side

Ferris Wheel on top of the largest shopping mall in South East Asia

It is veryyyy big

Has about 12-13 floors

This is just the front view of the mall

This river has got ZERO historical value

The main issue about this river is that it used to be really stinky

So, they started cleaning it by using the funds from the river cruise

It's not some Nile River where it is so significant. Just a colourfully lighted-up river and thus, made into a tourist attraction.
