Fantastic 4

The kid turned 4 last week.

-No longer a baby boy anymore

-Going through his "I-am-such-a-mischievous-boy" period

-A fan of toy guns hoping that they are real

-Never get bored of eating Yee Mee

-Adores Lion Dance

-Attempted to be Wong Fei Hung

-Tries his best to behave like a big kid

No matter what he will always be my poser boy =))

And so another one leaves

And so another one leaves...

Aussie stole Jonathan from us, and now it stole Juan Lyn. She left for Australia today in the evening, luckily we managed to have a farewell for her which was on Monday. We had potluck at Shu Jiun's house :) We had loads of yummy food! - Fried Mee Hoon, Indian fried kuey teow and noodles, sushi, nuggets, potato salad, sotong sambal, kuihs, muffins, chocolate cupcakes, "pai kuat" and strawberry with chocolate toppings. As usual we chatted and laughed all night long, and we would never get bored of reminiscing our past birthday surprises :) One day, I'm sure ALL of us would reunite again =))

Love is In the Air

We decided to be special.

Or rather to avoid the crowd and expensive meals. LOL We had our Valentines a day after the actual day, everything was the same except that we don't see as many couples on the street in one day and no sight of anyone selling flowers at a cut-throat price. We had a lunch picnic, which was supposed to be at Central Park, but because this is Malaysia and not the Central Park in the States, so we had to find a cooler spot for picnic.

We watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. This movie was released in the States months ago but it only came out a few days ago here -_-

I need not say anything about this movie. Only one word. Spectacular! I cried so much throughout the movie. Even the big buffalo guy sitting next to me was sobbing away. The show went slowwwww throughout the whole 2 hours and 45 minutes. It was all talking, talking and more talking. BUT it was awesome!! I'm not gonna spill the beans so just go watch it!! I'm not taking sides just because of Brad Pitt but the movie is indeed very worth watching. Just make sure you bring your hanky or enough tissues and be prepared to cry!!

Then we went to Eastin for Japanese Buffet at Eyuzu. As usual, I love the food there =))

It seems that we favour Japanese food during Valentines each time, or I think it's just me :)

I didn't bother to take any pictures of the food there, was too busy eating and eating. LOL

What have I been up to during CNY

Since I'm soooo lazy to blog about CNY, I shall just summarize everything really fast.

-Ate loads of yummy food
-Went to temples
-House visitings
-Watched movies
-Collecting Ang Paus ( Should have been on top of the list right )
-Playing cards
-Celebrate Kar Wei's Birthday
-Went to PD
-And more eating...Eat!Eat!Eat! :)

A Change from the Norm

We were "excusably" late for our lunch with Kar Wei, and who did the "We" refer to??

The 2 culprits - Michele Kuah and I :)) We had lunch at Swensons, which is one of my favourite places to go, and that's why we only go to fav places on fav occasions. And what was so special about that day?? It was KAR WEI's BIRTHDAY!! 19 going on 20 - The big two-0.

Three cheers for the Birthday girl!

After lunch we went to Kar Wei's house and we did it the classic way- by foot! LOL

We played M&M, not the chocolate but two games that start with the letter M :)) AND I just realised that we DID NOT take any photos!! Just too busy playing and yacking till we forgot about taking photos.
