The theme was Backwards, so everyone had to wear their clothes backwards. Cool idea! :)

Awesome-ness

Awesome awesome awesome!! The setting, casts, and storyline rock! First of all, it is pronounced as Yip Mun and not Eye-Pee Man. I was so into the movie that I forgotten that I was in a cinema. The fighting scenes were cool, not just any ordinary street fighting. It is definitely a must-watch!

Rating: 9/10

I do not know why there are not many promotions and advertisement on this movie. Another awesome movie! If you want to have a good laugh, do watch this show. It's a very entertaining and meaningful comedy and not those stupid lame ones. Four Christmases managed to save the reputation of comedies. To cut the story yet, the movie was awesome!!

Chaos Mode: On

One word to describe the last night of the year : Chaotic

Before :

I forgot to book movie tickets earlier!!! Damn I was never this careless in these things, knowing that New Year's eve would be jam packed with people. I managed to book tickets for The Spirit for the evening session.

During :

The Spirit wasn't as expected. It was dull and slow-moving. The movie is based on a comic book but I've never even heard of that book before. If you plan to fall asleep during a movie then watch this, if not, don't even think about it.

I hate it whenever there is a separate menu for big occasions. Limited food choices. The queue was long for certain restaurants and we just had to bare with it.

We ended up at the performance area to wait for the countdown. There were loads of ppl there, including crazy ones that started dancing above the crowd, sweaty ones that gave out lots of odour and not forgetting brainless ones that sprayed those white foam while the fireworks were displayed. If only they did not have cow brains, they wouldn't have done so. Everyone was looking upwards enjoying the fireworks and there came the foam right into the eye. The foam wouldn't have gotten into the eye of those who sprayed but this was how brainlessly inconsiderate they could be.

After:

Jam Jam Jam!! Need not describe how jam it was. However, I shall thank my deary for driving us there :)

And yes we were indeed stuck at this very spot for more than an hour.
